Mitä voi kasvaa lapsesta, joka varttuu teiniksi Dame Edna Everagen ja The Muppet Shown tv-vaikutuspiirissä? Löysin tämän Ednan alusta loppuun asti keksityn elämäkerran taas suvun kellarikirjastosta juhannuksena. Ostin kirjan kerran lomalla käytettynä. Luen sitä pätkän silloin, toisen tällöin, ja aina minulla on hetken hauskaa palauttaessani mieleen Ednan ja morsiusneitonsa alisteisen suhteen. Nuoruudesta käsin on myös The Muppet Show -sarja alkanut kummitella. On tullut ikävä ruotsalaista kokkia, Kermittiä, Miss Piggyä, jne. Ednan elämäkerralta suomalaiset yleiset kirjastot ovat ilmeisesti suojanneet itsensä kokonaan, mutta erilaista Muppe-materiaalia kyllä löytyy. Youtube on tietysti ilmeinen paikka jatkaa fanitusta.
